Hellbranch Run takes on the world with their new release.
After five years of continuous shows and nonstop writing, Hellbranch Run’s debut album, Us Against the World, has finally arrived. The 11-song album was released digitally on January 20, 2012 through online retailers such as iTunes and Amazon among others. HBR celebrated the physical album release on April 13, 2012 at the famous Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio with a hometown crowd of over 500 loyal fans.
In it's five years of existence the band has played some of the best venues Ohio has to offer with national bands such as July for Kings (MCA), Taproot (Atlantic), Mayday (Sony), Ivoryline (Tooth & Nail), The Fold (Tooth & Nail), Icon for Hire (Tooth & Nail) and others.
In 2009 the band was featured on the Toledo, Ohio television network BCSN. HBR also played a sold out show at The Basement in Columbus, Ohio. In 2010 the band created a Columbus based music showcase called The Uprising. Since then the reoccurring showcase has attracted national booking agencies, sponsorships, and radio backing. In 2011 , with increasing momentum in their live show element, the band began recording their first studio album. During the recording process they leaked new songs on 99.7 The Blitz and have made live on-air appearances and performances on the station as well. They also release a limited edition 4-song EP during their time in the studio.

they have performed mostly in the Midwest and Eastern regions, there are clearly

Cheap Wine and Bread
“Cheap Wine and Bread, from southern Ohio, were formed in the early fall of 2009. Using several styles of music, they create a unique blend of original music. Within each song you can hear echoes of working class ethics and undertones of military backgrounds.
The band consists of members that show their own unique influences. Aubrey Hatfield (vocals, guitar, banjo) gains influence from Delta blues, Beat era musings, and gypsy jazz. “Cheap Wine and Bread, from southern Ohio, were formed in the early fall of 2009. Using several styles of music, they create a unique blend of original music. Within each song you can hear echoes of working class ethics and undertones of military backgrounds.
The band consists of members that show their own unique influences. Aubrey Hatfield (vocals, guitar, banjo) gains influence from Delta blues, Beat era musings, and gypsy jazz. Youth Never Dies takes the listener speeding through pop punk riffs, sliding through melodic breakdowns and crashing into a blast of heavy metal, delivering a unique sound appealing to many different genres of music. Guitarist Jim Scully and bassist Connor Peterson have participated in the Rock-Off the past two years, giving the band an edge in experience. With Sullivan's glass-shattering vocals, Scully's thrashing guitar riffs, Peterson's melodic bass lines and Mackson's pulse-pounding drum beats, the band shows they have what it takes to win.

Humility, maturity… these are not qualities normally attributed to 25-year-old singer/songwriters of Heather Evans’ caliber.
One doesn’t spend much time with Evans before they are struck by not only how centered she is, but also by her immense faith. Her music doesn’t shy from life’s issues, however. Her lyrics are full of searching and yearning.
Evans released an album called “Impatient Heart” which got quite the buzz, while still a high school kid named Heather Waugh. Her songs landed in 2 episodes of MTV’s Laguna Beach and 3 songs on Nickelodeon’s teen show South of Nowhere. Since then, she’s entered young adulthood and has gotten married, changing her name to Heather Evans.
Moved by Love, Heather Evans makes her stand against the injustice of Human Trafficking (modern-day slavery) through music. Giving a voice to the voiceless. Heather made a music video for "Priceless" a song she wrote about Human Trafficking in the summer of 2008. Recognized by the music community as: ”A one woman benefit tour", when Evans plays live, more often than not, she’s raising money for others. We’ve kidded her that it’s ok to make a bit of money for herself. She’s not against the idea, but then there’s always someone who needs her help. That’s just Heather.

After Z is a story. Like any good story, it has a beginning. In 2005, a boy named Nathan Stauffer started writing a few songs and short stories – exaggerated, even whimsical accounts of his own adventures. He compiled, composed, and created, and in 2009, an album of songs was recorded. Soon after, Nathan sought out the help of his friends – Jesse Fellows (guitar), Justin Crissman (bass), and Paul Longo (drums) – to bring those songs to life on stage. The four of them began playing shows in 2010, building a following in their hometown of Youngstown, OH, and in surrounding cities like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Akron. In some ways, it feels as though the story is still very much at its beginning; the band is continually developing its sound, adding a bit of an edge to its otherwise ambient and playful style. There is also a book being written, which describes in further detail the imagery and concepts behind the songs.
For anyone willing to close their eyes and listen for whispers, to fill up the corners with wonder, to learn to walk through the sky and discover the previously unseen shapes and colors...for anyone willing to believe in bigger things, the story is quite clear: there is another world out there, one that exists outside of the things that we see with our eyes or touch with our hands. THE NUCLEAR CHILDREN The Nuclear Children have been described as Metro Pog Rock or Modern Retro Progressive Pop Rock. Their music fuses the simplicity, fullness and melody of older music with the energy, intensity, and sarcasm of modern hymns.
After releasing a well received debut five song EP in September 2007, The Nuclear Children are once again back in the studio. This time recording their first full length album titled, “Ten Sordid Tales of Schaden and Fruede”, due out in early spring 2009 on Champions of the Arts. “Paint It Red” is the first single released from the forthcoming album.
